Sue Shee ran the corner (collection of Eleanor and Leonard Flomenhaft) and 2 made in usa: Angel Island Shhh installation pieces.

Bitter Melon Rice Blues: Elegy for America, 1992, 10’ x 14’ x 6’, mixed media

Kindred Spirit #2 tells the story of Wen Ho Lee.  The Mother’s Baggage suitcases tell the story of my mother’s entry into the United States under false identity.

This is 1 of the Mother’s Baggage suitcases.  It focuses on my mother’s interrogation at the Angel Island Immigration Station in 1933.

Dinner Table II, 2005, 2’ x 9’, mixed media – this installation honors my parents, my siblings, and me.
